The School Garden Network (SGN) is Rockland County’s educational resource for schools with gardens or “growing windowsills.”
A collaboration of CCE Community Horticulture and Master Gardener volunteers, the School Garden Network provides valuable, standards-based information on teaching all areas of New York State Curriculum.
Teachers need not have a school garden or gardening experience to benefit from this rich resource of green activities. Educators involved in establishing and maintaining a garden or school “growing program” now have a network designed for all levels of gardening experience.
