 Piermont Marsh Planning: Fact-Finding

Meeting 2: What do we know about water quality and Piermont Marsh?
Thursday, November 13, 6:00pm – 8:30pm Piermont Village Hall, 478 Piermont Avenue

Please join the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and NYS Parks in the second of a series of public fact-finding meetings to inform the development of a long-term management plan for Piermont Marsh. The topics addressed at these meetings are based on the questions and concerns that have been raised by members of the community and other stakeholders.
At this meeting, there will be a series of presentations about the water quality monitoring data available for this area, what is being done to improve water quality, and how water quality relates to the marsh. The information presented will help to inform objectives for management of the marsh. There will also be an opportunity for the public to ask the speakers clarifying questions and to submit comments.
Please join us at 5:45 for refreshments, and the program will begin at 6:00.

If you are unable to attend but would like to receive the meeting summary or submit comments, please contact Lisa Graichen, intern with the NYSDEC, at Lisa.Graichen@dec.ny.gov.
